When to visit?
Peak: June – August. These months offer warm long days. More crowds.
Shoulder: April – May & September – October. These months offer great weather for exploring but are cooler.
Off-Peak: November – March. Chilly weather but less crowds. You may experience snow. It a great time to visit historical areas without many crowds. These are the wettest months but you can still get prefect sunny days with less crowds.
Card, Cash, or both?

Driving and arriving at Caernarfon castle. You spend miles winding through this lush, peaceful farmland full of sheep, and the roads get narrower and narrower as you approach the town. Then, without warning, you turn a corner and there it is—this absolute gorgeous castle. Seeing that massive fortress standing as a living testament to centuries of conflict and power, tucked right into the middle of everyday life, was a powerful reminder of how much human history is packed into this landscape.
